THE CORE BUSINESS: MACROBIOTIC CATERING AND SHOP

Our team has decided to buy a macrobiotic shop in Paris. The seller is retiring and wants to transfer the business to somebody who will continue with macrobiotics.

Our market study showed that customers are interested in macrobiotic catering to takeaway, especially when they do not know much about macrobiotics. People want also to be able to order online and are interested in delivery.

Our aim is to adapt the offer to customers’ expectations and create differences with competitors.Thus we will develop 2 categories of activities:

• Catering with a healthy vegan-oriented offer. Dishes will be cooked on the spot with fresh seasonal food, without dairy products nor sweeteners.
• The sale/advice of macrobiotic products, supported by a new Internet website.

Our aim is to offer homemade healthy tasty food. Macrobiotics has transformed our lives, and has helped us to overcome difficulties. We want to let you experiment with macrobiotics yourself.

We want you to enjoy a meal that will give you energy. The balance between Yin and Yang helps you to stimulate energy circulation in the body.

 

OUR CHALLENGE: A HEALTHY TASTY FOOD

Our challenge is to offer healthy tasty food. Modern people wants to eat healthy and enjoy it at the same time. Our objective is to propose balanced food, with a highlight on whole grains, legumes and vegetables.

 

A NEW WEBSITE AS THE FIRST STEP IN OUR PROJECT

A website that will be ergonomic and easy-to-use: this is the first step. Our all project is to develop macrobiotic catering and organic sales.

Once the shop website has been launched, we will proceed with modernization of the kitchen, a rearrangement of the sales space and purchase of kitchen utensils.

OUR PHILOSOPHY : MACROBIOTICS

We help people to change their eating habits to improve their health, thanks to an effective but little-known philosophy called macrobiotics. Macrobiotics is the art of combining Yin and Yang to find a balance in food and improve health.

 

HOW THE COLLECTED MONEY WILL BE USED?

The collection will be used to create a simple and easy-to-use e-business website. This is our plan:

• Create a graphic design: 500 €

• Create e-business website, ergonomic and easy-to-use: 4 300 €

• Produce photos to highlight products: 200 €

For a total of 5 000 €

Other investments will be financed by personal contributions, start-up loans and a bank loan.

If we exceed our target, we will be able to use the money raised to:

• Purchase of kitchen equipment
• Upgrades to electricity standards
• New furniture
• Modernization of the kitchen
• Refurbishment of sales area
