DESCRIPTION

We are Astrid and Christian, we have 6 children. We have been in Montélimar since 2014.

We recently bought a property, a former hostel : Auberge de l’Ile Blanc, in the municipality of Rochemaure.

This place was built in 1894 and we would like to give it a new life.

We can't change the world but we will make good use of this project. This site could accommodate tourists and also help people in need. We are going to try to provide some work, especially for young adults in difficulty through the contact and the care of farm animals. The aim is to improve their lives and help them to become integrated.

The renovation of part of this building should enable us to create a 3 room B & B with bathrooms that we could rent also separately.

Meanwhile we’ll offer workshops : Making butter, cream, yogurts…

 

On the 5 hectares of agricultural land, we will build our mini-dairy and will extend the Friesian horses breeding.

 

For the mini dairy, we are going to buy 6 Jerseys cows with calvings spread out periodically so that we could produce milk as constantly as possible.

The sale will to be local, on place and in the farm shop and organic shops we work with.

For the processed products, we will market them the same way. Dairy processing is going to be at the core of this social and professional insertion project.

The purpose of this project is to be financially self sufficient as soon as possible.

 

Regarding the activity with the horses : we have already 5 Friesian horses (4mares and a stallion) and we wish to train them and sell some foals with real sporting abilities.

We are already used to driving a carriage and we regularly offer our services for local events (weddings, village party…).

We are now in a perfect place for developing this activity : flat enough with a variety of landscapes (lakes, forest, fields…).

 

WHAT IS THE MONEY RAISED FOR ?

The first goal of this funding program is to collect 15 000€.

We will be able, with that amount to achieve our priorities :

Partial renovation of an old hostel dating from 1894 in order to create a 6 persons B & B.

Building 2 separated barns and stables.

Building a food-processing laboratory.

 

This includes our personal investment and we could use your contribution  to complete the project.

100m2 roofing = 4 000€
 

Interior layout = 1 800€

Furniture and domestic appliances = 4 200€

Milking equipment and cowshed = 5 000€

 

Second goal  = 25 000€

If the first goal is achieved, we are going to face a new challenge and would like to carry on with a new contribution in order to complete the barn and the stable buildings and improve the processing laboratory.

3 000€ for the processing laboratory.

7 000€ for the stable and the barn.

For a financial assistance of : 

15€ or more : A full basket of fresh vegetables from the farm along with a recipe.

 

25€ or more : Visit the farm and harvest the products of your choice.

An extensive visit to fill your basket and complete your knowledge of organic farming.

 

50€ or more : A day to discover natural growing methods, to pick your vegetables and fruits. A picnic on place to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere on this farm.

 

75€ or more : Find out what our “Little World” is like. Have a ride on our carriage, a picnic and to close the day you will return home with a basket of fresh products and a valuable experience of your visit.

 

100€ or more : One night for 2 people including breakfast. Ideal for some rest and relaxation. On awakening, you will fully enjoy a breakfast with organic products mainly from our farm (butter, milk, eggs, jam…)

 

200€ or more : 2 nights in our hostel “ La Ferme Auberge du Petit Monde” feels like holidays already. Experience the rhythm and the atmosphere on the farm. Taste a healthy breakfast with local products. Enjoy a carriage ride for a fun visit.

 

300€ or more : Mini-vacation, up to 6 people. 2 nights and 2 breakfasts.

Unwind in a generous atmosphere. Enjoy great breakfasts and a pleasant atmosphere in the middle of our little world.

 

500€ or more : Up to 6 people, 5 days. A real break to impregnate yourselves with a positive vibe, discover a way of life, enjoy good food and good company…

OR 

500€ or more : Vacation in the mountains.

A week for 8 people in the Belleville Valley. In a typical mountain hamlet, enjoy the surrounding nature and outdoor activities. Come and recharge in a comfy chalet. Available from July 6th to August 31st 2019.
